[Unfinished] The Unseen Plague
This is a game about an impending plague. You don't know whether the plague is real or just a simple cold, but the people are in a panic. You need to calm them down, and if the real plague arrives, you must find a way to cure it.
This was a project for the Brackeys Game Jam. Unfortunately, it wasn’t finished in time and will likely never be polished to its intended state.
Gameplay
The city has a fear meter (fire icon). When fear reaches its maximum level, the game is over. The more sick and unburied people there are, the faster the fear grows.
Every second, the player receives taxes paid by each healthy resident in the city. The player has three actions:
- Patrol - find out the situation in the surrounding houses.
- Cure - try to cure the disease in the surrounding houses (50% chance for each resident).
- Bury - bury the dead in the surrounding area and receive money (50% chance for each resident).
Controls
- Press buttons at the bottom of the screen to send agents.
- Press right click to stop the current action.
Epidemics look the same but have different properties. Some can be more deadly than others!
